Bournemouth Town Map Illustration
When commissioned by Weissman Agency to design an illustration for their digital assets, the task was to craft a unique representation of Bournemouth, tying into the iconic Walton House's architectural features. Drawing inspiration from the grand entrance and outside pillars of Walton House, I embarked on creating a bespoke map that seamlessly integrated with the building's aesthetics. Incorporating nods to art deco design, custom decals, and abstract details, I meticulously curated the illustration to complement Walton House's elegance while capturing the essence of Bournemouth's charm.
The resulting illustration became a masterpiece of visual storytelling, employing brush strokes, textures, and a tonal color palette to evoke a sense of sophistication and uniqueness. By infusing elements of art deco and abstract design, the map not only paid homage to Walton House's grandeur but also celebrated Bournemouth's vibrant spirit. As a result, Weissman Agency's digital assets were enriched with a visually captivating representation of the town, serving as a testament to the agency's commitment to excellence and creativity in all aspects of their work.
